Crazy Hair Day

It was Crazy Hair Day at Play to Learn, and we had an absolute blast! We love having fun, so this day was perfect for us. The hairstyles were wild and creative, with lots of colours, hair ties, and even some spiders! You could tell everyone put a lot of thought into their zany styles.

‘Fun days’ like these help everyone feel like they belong, as all the tamariki get to join in on the fun together. It’s a great way for tamariki, kaiako, and whaanau to bond over shared experiences and activities. Plus, it breaks up the routine and brings some excitement, making everyone even more enthusiastic about coming to daycare.

These special days create a joyful and positive atmosphere, making the daycare experience more enjoyable for everyone. Themed days also give children a chance to learn about different cultures, traditions, and concepts, promoting diversity and inclusivity. Through these fun activities, kids learn to appreciate and respect the differences among their peers.

And of course, fun days bring a lot of laughter and joy, which is great for the emotional well-being of all the tamariki.
