As part of our Matariki celebrations, we took our tamariki on a special cultural trip to Kirikiriroa Marae, supported by Te Kohao Health’s Kahu Taurima service. This was a beautiful opportunity for our children to connect with te ao Maori, learn about the significance of Matariki, and experience the warmth and tikanga of the marae.
Tamariki participated in Star making, cooking decorating and a race to catch the stars! After all that hard work we sat down together to enjoy some kai. What a lovely experience to share together.
