Dress-Up Day: Giraffes, Bumpkins and a Whole Lot of Fun!

We had the best time at our latest dress-up day! The challenge was to come as something starting with the first letter of your name, and our tamariki totally nailed it. Say hello to Boston the Bumpkin, Gaia the Giraffe, Minnie Mouse Miraya and Red Ridinghood Rebecca!

Letters, names and big imaginations

Dress-up day was a fun way to practise the letter recognition we’ve been working on together. The kids worked out the first letters of their names, matched letter sounds (“G for Gaia AND Giraffe!”) and proudly had a go at writing their own names. They loved showing off what they knew, and seeing them so excited about letters was the best part of our day. That’s how we like to do things here: lots of play, lots of laughs, and lots of growing along the way.
